Recently the girls and I decided to have dinner at Cracker Barrel so that we could have rootbeer floats for dessert. Cracker Barrel is one of their FAVORITE restaurants. They really enjoy the store, which always reminds me of my trips there when I was a child. I always got to get some kind of candy there. I also remember their rootbeer floats fondly. When I realized the girls had not had the float experience there, well, it was a MUST!! So we invited Nanie and Hamma, my mom, along for the ride!
Haha, the glass was almost as big as her face! She liked the crunchy bits of rootbeer in the ice cream, a girl after her mamma's heart! :) That's my favorite part. 
Miranda also enjoyed it which was shocking! Usually it's like pulling teeth to get this girl to even try something new, but she was all about it!Loren did not much care for the rootbeer float in the end, but Miranda did. I love sharing some of the things I enjoyed as a child with my own children. Seeing things through their eyes...there's nothing like it! I love these little heathens!!

I think we may have to try this. I've never had a root beer float from Cracker Barrel and neither has Brooklyn. We love that place though. It's a vacation/road trip must when we go somewhere though, lol
